Hi everyone
I'm Pippa from Westmeath. I'm a Labrador/ Collie cross so I'd see myself as very loyal and very protective. I live with my owners parents (she got married and moved away to Offaly and let's just say I wasn't interested in acquiring a BIFFO status so remained in Westmeath).
I'm not the only dog on the premises - there are 2 greyhounds living here too. They're supposed to be racing greyhounds but they rarely race and never win so I as far as I'm concerned they're pets. Take last night - I'm not going to name anyone here but the blonde one was in a local race and came last!!! 3rd or 4th I could understand but last? And yet she's out for our daily walk on the canal without a care in the world! Mind you she's not as mouthy as usual!
If you haven't picked up on it yet - we don't get on! Apart from the fact that she's tall and skinny (and the fact that she's blonde - that's her above) she has a tendency to bark a lot! I really don't like dogs who love the sound of their own bark!! If you want some attention sweetheart why not try winning a race???
Her sister is black and much quieter - our relationship is a bit different - we don't not get on we just have an understanding. She stays away from me and I do likewise.
So that’s a bit about me – I’m hoping to start posting regularly - at my age it’s hard to remember everything but I read somewhere recently that making notes helps so here I am with a blog!
