Welcome to pettalk. I saw your profile with your two lovely dogs. Making the profile is the first step and you've done that fine!
Next thing you can do is write updates for your pet. You just click on their profile and there is a box at the top of the page where you can type the update. The update then appears on the front page for the other users to see.
