I'm just wondering if anyone changes their pets food in summer. I've always thought that my Collie cross should get a bit more as she's alot more active in Summertime?

I don't change their food as such, but if they are looking a bit lean I just give them slightly more. Vice versa if they are looking a little pudgy!

hi, ive got a german shep & jack russel both spayed. during the summer ice cubs in their water helps them, they are mykids. i watch there weight' all the time. if a dog is nice & slim, it will be more active. if feed more because we think we should, the dog will not be as active any more.i hate to see any animal over weight,

They are brats for not eating when the sun is too much, same as ourselves really. Our guys get 2 meals a day so durning the summer months or when the weather is hot we only give them a small brekkie and then they get a large dinner after their walk in the evening as it is so much cooler. seems to work.
